We had a wonderful trip to the mountains last week, complete with a Father's Day weekend at the lake with my family. I have slacked a little bit on posting since our return to Birmingham. Remember how I told you we were giving our house a little mini-makeover? Well, the painting took a little longer than expected...and we ended up handing the job over to some professionals. They worked hard while we were out of town, so I have spent the past few days trying to get the house back in order. Mini-makeover pictures to come very soon, but until then...here are a few snapshots from Highlands.
